Co-infection between Entamoeba histolytica and Helicobacter Pylori in Patients at Wasit Province

The current study was conducted at Wasit province, Iraq during the period from 28 October 2020 to28 December 2020. included one hundred stool samples taken questionable patients ofEntamoeba histolytica and Helicobacter pylori. Samples were collected patient attended to GeneralHospital of Martyr Fairuz Hay district , Saeed Health center Hospital Al-Kut. All havebeen checked using direct smear lugol’s iodine stain for Entamoeba dipstick Helicobacterpylori. result showed that 40 (40%) out 100 gave positive by rapid test cassette;females 23 (23%) males 17(17%). While 14 (14%)out werepositive histolytica. highest infection in females 8(8%) lowest 6(6%).The 10 (10%) both E. H. Thehighest recorded 6(6%) 4(4%).The H.pylori age group (39 more) years ; malesrecorded 6(6%), while (>1) old 1(1%) 1(1%). rate (1-13) ;females 4(4%) (26-39) old; without infection. Infection with E.histolytica wasrecorded 3(3%) recorded2(2%) do not infections.
